One of the objectives of the Strategic Plan is to “develop and implement a robust regulatory framework that keeps pace with evolving markets, business models, and technologies.”

The securities regulator defined that an initiative geared toward attaining this objective is to “examine strategies to address systemic and infrastructure risks faced by our capital markets and our market participants.” Noting that “the rapid growth in crypto assets” additionally represents a threat, the watchdog stated to be higher ready for the dangers on this class:
