In a renewed effort to further expand crypto adoption across the globe, and in Spain in particular, Kraken has become the Official Crypto and Web3 Partner of Atlético Madrid.
The sponsorship deal will also see the leading crypto platform as the Official Sleeve Partner for all Atlético de Madrid men’s and women’s football shirts.
Established in 1903, Atlético is one of Spain’s most iconic football clubs and the partnership aims to merge the worlds of sports and web3, unlocking greater opportunities for fans at the intersection of Spanish football and the crypto ecosystems.

Kraken also sponsors Williams Racing Formula 1 team
This is not the only sports sponsorship involving Kraken. The crypto platform supports Williams Racing Formula 1 team since last year. Kraken is the team’s first-ever Official Crypto and Web3 Partner.
Kraken branding adorns the FW45 halo and rear wing as well as adorns driver race suits and team caps. The rear wing showcases KrakenNFT customer-owned digital collectibles artwork from leading third-party NFT projects at select Grands Prix. Williams and Kraken also collaborate on the design of limited-edition caps for select Grands Prix.
In addition, Kraken participates at selected Williams Racing fanzone initiatives throughout the season, with pop-up experiences in cities throughout the calendar, and produces content and experiences to educate and engage fans about the value and mission of crypto and Web3.
